We’re so proud to have been named as one of the top 20 fish and chip shops in Britain.

Fiddlers Elbow Fish and Chips has been shortlisted in the National Fish and Chip Awards 2020! We are the Midlands semi-finalists in the running for the Fish and Chip Shop of the Year award, the main event at the national awards ceremony.
To be shortlisted, it means the judges recognise how we have worked really hard at Fiddlers Elbow to implement the sustainable sourcing of ingredients, continued staff training and career opportunities for young people, and how we have expanded our shop menu to cater more for people with dietary requirements.

We’re also really proud to have scored 98% in the mystery diner’s feedback, who praised our shop for being very tidy, clean and welcoming.

The mystery diner said: “The fish was delicious, chips were nicely cooked, free from excess oil. The staff were friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about the business.”

It means a lot to us at Fiddlers Elbow as it recognises the hard work the team do on a daily basis. Fingers crossed for the National Fish and Chips Awards ceremony in 2020!
